Important information on the new toll regulation from 01/07/2024

In addition to the current toll regulation (7.5t truck toll, CO2 toll), a new toll will be introduced for commercial vehicles with a technically permissible maximum mass (tzGm) of more than 3.5t and up to 7.5t that are used or intended to be used for freight transport.

Vehicle combinations are subject to tolls if the towing vehicle has a tzGm of more than 3.5 tonnes.

As the renter/vehicle driver, you are obliged to pay any toll fees incurred during the rental period. Please obtain information about the route network and charges from the relevant public authorities before travelling.

Which vehicles are affected at Wucherpfennig?

All towing vehicles, if a tzGm of more than 3.5 tonnes is reached. As things stand at present, this is the case for our vehicles in the TJ group with 7.2 tonnes to 7.49 tonnes and TQ with 12 tonnes.

How is the toll paid?

Some vehicles in the TQ group are equipped with an OnBoard Unit (OBU). We will invoice you for the fees incurred retrospectively.

For vehicles that do not have an OBU, you are responsible for registering your journey before setting off. To do so you can, for example, use the Toll Collect portal at www.toll-collect.de. Please note that if you fail to register, we will charge a processing fee of 35.00 euros in addition to the toll fees incurred, and any administrative offence fees or similar may be levied.
